The Tablelands Ophiolite is in Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland, Canada. Serpentinization of the ultramafic rocks at this site create natural springs at the surface that are extremely high pH and vent hydrogen and methane gas. The springs appear to have many similarities with the Liguria Springs
